About Us

Biomed is a Diagnostic Laboratory in Armenia, established in 2009.

Both experienced and young specialists work in the laboratory. Examinations are conducted using the latest equipment from the best world famous companies, such as: Cobas e 411, Cobas c 311, 9180 Electrolyte analyser (Roche, Switzerland), XN-350, XS 500i (Sysmex, Japan), Start 4, Start Max (Stago, France), Rotor Gene Q (Qiagen, Germany).

Quality control is carried out at all levels using both external and internal quality control mechanisms. Our laboratory collaborates with the Reference Institute for Bioanalytics, Germany, which is an external international research center. In 2019 our laboratory got an accreditation by international (canadian) company PECB for ISO 9001:2015.

We constantly monitor changes in this area at the international level, participate in various professional conferences, apply new technologies and professional skills to make research more qualitative.

Start Max (Stago France) – analyzer for the study of the hemostasis system.

Cobas e 411

Cobas e 411 analyzer is a fully automated analyzer that uses patented electrochemiluminescence (ECL) technology for immunochemical analysis. It is designed for both quantitative and qualitative performance of a wide range of studies.

Cobas c 311

Cobas c 311 analyzer (Roche Switzerland) is a fully automated analyzer designed for biochemistry tests.

The following analyzes are performed on the cobas c 311 analyzer

Liver examination (ALT, AST, GGT, SHF, LDH, Bilirubin), Kidney examination (Creatinine, urea, uric acid, total protein, albumin), Pancreas (total and pancreatic amylase, pancrin), Cholesterol with fractions, acute phase proteins, immunoglobulins, trace elements, glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, etc.

9180 electrolyte analyzer

9180 electrolyte analyzer (Roche Switzerland) – designed for electrolyte analysis – Na, K, Ca++, Ca total.

Sysmex XN 350

XN 350 (Sysmex Japan) analyzer is designed to perform a complete hematological blood test with differentiation of the leukocyte formula into 6 subpopulations of leukocytes.

Quality control is carried out at all levels using both external and internal quality control mechanisms.

Biomed diagnostic laboratory collaborates with the Reference Institute for Bioanalytics, Germany, which is an external international research center.
