Biomed Diagnostic Laboratory was founded in 2009. As of 2025, Biomed operates 10 branches in Yerevan and various regions of Armenia.
The laboratory employs both experienced and young qualified laboratory physicians. All tests are performed using modern equipment from globally recognized manufacturers.
The equipment used includes:
- Cobas e 411, Cobas c 311 (Roche, Switzerland)
- XN-350, XS 500i (Sysmex, Japan)
- Stago STA Satellite Max (Stago, France)
- EXIAS e1 (Exias Medical, Austria)
- Rotor Gene Q, Bio-Rad cfx96 (Qiagen, Germany)
Ultrasound examinations are carried out using the following systems:
- Toshiba Aplio-500
- Sonoscape E2
Quality control is ensured at multiple levels through both internal and external assurance mechanisms. The laboratory collaborates with the European Society for External Quality Assessment (ESfEQA), a Germany-based organization that provides external quality evaluation (EQA) programs for medical laboratories.
We continuously follow international developments in laboratory medicine, participate in professional conferences, and adopt the latest technologies and methodologies to ensure high diagnostic accuracy and reliability.
